Hundreds of kids and their families were swept up in the fairytale imagery that is HomeAid’s 2014 Project Playhouse, at the recent Lake-A-Palooza community event held at Towne Lake, a Caldwell Community in northwest Houston.

Coventry Homes/Plantation Homes (MHI) constructed a castle that is so realistic it appears to have jumped from the pages of a child’s storybook and landed right at their feet.

The excitement was contagious, inspiring looks of anticipation for knights and kings and dragons to appear.

Lake-A-Palooza was the first public unveiling of the Coventry Kid’s Castle where kids and adults experienced this whimsical HomeAid fundraiser that has grown in popularity over its eight-year history.

Coventry Kid’s Castle was part of a broad range of festivities including live entertainment, interactive games, boat rides, a boat show, inflatables and an assortment of culinary delights.
