Testimonials

Dear Kent Moore Cabinets,

“I wanted to send an email about one of your exceptional employees, Jim W.  My house flooded during the Harvey disaster which was devastating.  We are the original owners of the Darling home which had beautiful Kent Moore cabinets for the last 16 years.  When faced with needing to replace the cabinets, I naturally thought of Kent Moore.

In the midst of an incredibly busy time, Jim made time to come to my home.  He helped me find the one remaining drawer that had all of the original order information.  While I was in a dazed and confused state, he walked me through selections and design.  He worked tirelessly on my order and countless others, helping us rebuild our lives.

The day he came to my home for final measurements before we placed the order, he knew that the island was not exactly what I had in mind.  He patiently worked with me for longer than he probably had time.  He listened to what I had in mind, he looked at pictures with me and he helped me design my dream island.  This kind of customer service is rare.  Jim is an amazing representative for the Kent Moore Cabinet Company.  I am very grateful for his empathy, compassion and patience.  I can't wait for my new cabinets!  I know they will be as lovely as the last ones.”

A Very Satisfied Customer,
Jackie S.

Hello,

“I wanted to express my appreciation for the nice work done today by your crew comprised of Zeljko and Milica.  They came to our home today to do the final trim work on our lower kitchen cabinets that were replaced and/or damaged due to Hurricane Harvey in August.

Our cabinets were originally installed by Kent Moore in 2011 when we bought our home.  About ½ of the cabinets had to be replaced due to Harvey, and the others were salvaged but damaged in some way.  Kudos to KMC for everything you are doing to help people impacted by Harvey!

The crew today was very professional and very nice.  This was the last piece of work we needed to declare our home ‘complete’ after Harvey.  KMC has done a great job to support us and although we sincerely hope we don’t have to do this again, we will definitely engage Kent Moore in any needs we have for a future home, if we stay in Texas for the long term.

Please express our thanks to Zeljko, Milica, Charlie, and everyone else that was involved in our project.   We are sincerely grateful.”

“I wanted to take this opportunity to commend Jessie M., who helped me tremendously when I visited your Bryan showroom, after being flooded out of our less than two year old new darling home in The Woodlands, by Hurricane Harvey. I came to look at the displays and found Jessie informative, helpful, had ideas, answered questions and very nice. In the midst of having to reconstruct our home unexpectedly, she helped in many ways, as I had not had the time to really think, let alone plan and design in advance, as I might have with a planned project!

When my husband and I returned a week or so later to the showroom, Jessie remembered me and was again helpful, as was one of the other team members, that Jessie asked a few questions.  He, too,  jumped right in and helped us with his insights, information, and was very knowledgeable and nice. I believe his name is Dallin (?? sorry I can’t recall for sure his name - but he is officed in the very first cube on the left). We left with a better understanding of what we wanted thanks to this team.

We are also very fortunate to have Jason M. helping us with the project in The Woodlands. When he came out to our mucked out home, he was very caring, very knowledgeable and very professional. He has undoubtedly been working round the clock, to get us and countless others (our entire neighborhood alone flooded, let alone the greater Houston area) answers, prices, and place orders, as quickly as possible.

Two other employees that we’d like to highlight from our past experiences of building and designing with y’all  is Ramiro and Jerry. Ramiro is an exceptionally skilled craftsman and remedied warranty issues at our home. Jerry was a resource that helped give design and technical answers with a problem during the build process. Both are nice men, highly skilled and professional.

It is often said that the kitchen is the heart of the home. We so appreciate the exceptional team of people that y’all have to help us rebuild and ensure that the end product is once again beautiful, stylish and functional. Yes, we so look forward to once again gathering in our home - and kitchen!

We are also VERY grateful to Kent Moore for deciding to offer those of us that flooded a great discount directly to the homeowners, right from the start and making every effort to get the cabinets in production as soon as possible. What a huge relief and help this is! Thank you Kent Moore, truly. You have helped lighten a heavy load.

Yes, we are looking forward to being able to return to our home and our lives, so to speak. Know that Kent Moore and your team, have helped this difficult time be less difficult in many ways. Please join me in commending these individuals as well as Kent Moore decision makers for the services, support and discounts  y’all have rendered us and greater Houston post Hurricane Harvey.”

Sincerely,
Tim and Mary

 Dear Sirs,

“we would like to commend the performance of your salesman, Dave L. and the delivery and installation team that have worked with us for the past month.  Because of Hurricane Harvey, we lost everything in the lower level of our home.  With no flood insurance, we were looking to rebuild our home back to its original beauty but didn’t have the funds to do everything all at once.  This is such an overwhelming feeling and had all of us working/living/existing with high emotions.  As a necessity, we absolutely had to have the cabinets restored.  I was able to get Dave’s information from a neighbor who happens to be a realtor.

The original cabinets were from Kent Moore.  There is no way we could start over from scratch.  Dave answered my phone call the first time I reached out.  He showed up at our home on the day he promised, spending an abundant amount of time reviewing the floor plan and walking through it all with us.  Several of our neighbors also wanted to talk to him so he was really stretched that day.  We were all still devastated and needed quite a bit of guidance.  Dave came in, took notes and measurements then went back to see if he could find the original plans from when the house was built in 2001.

During his second visit, we had a better grasp of what was happening and what all we needed to get done.  We had made some plans to remodel the living room and were left with a large open space.  To my amazement, Dave listened to us and just took over.  He had an idea for a dry bar in the living room and just drew it on the wall.  I loved it, and we went with it.  Then we moved to the study where we originally just had built in shelves.  We had recently acquired a very nice desk and I wanted to rebuild something that would go with the desk.  Dave stepped up again and designed a very nice piece that goes beautifully with the desk.

During this whole event, Dave would email me late in the evening and then respond very early when I replied to him.  I was amazed at the hours he kept and the time he spent working with us.  His patience and ability to listen and understand what we wanted helped us through a very difficult part of this rebuild.  The office called and set up a date and time for delivery.  The cabinets were delivered at 7 am, and the installers arrived shortly after.  All of these employees were very easy to work with and are a great face of Kent Moore Cabinets to have working with the public.”

Respectfully,

“I wanted to take a moment to openly thank  Kent Moore Cabinets for their efforts to truly help someone who was directly affected by Tropical Storm Harvey. Being over 68 yrs. old and living alone; it was a daunting task to recover from close to 3 feet of water in my home; losing between 80-90% of my personal effects, clothes and years of mementoes collected over a life time… When purchasing my home, the kitchen and its architectural grade cabinetry had always been the added “pop & sizzle” that was compelling in my decision to purchase this home.

Fast forward 9 years; and I had a new vision as I watched young men demolish these cabinets and structures. When I personally removed one drawer; I saw the name “Kent Moore” burned into the inside of the drawer. Wanting to rebuild as close to the original perfect home I started with, I immediately went on a search until I received a call from Houston Sales trainer, Jim W. In the middle of all this chaos with Kent Moore’s staff being inundated by hundreds of calls every day, he focused on me and my neighborhood. He took me from the bottom of the drawer computer label code to what turned out to be CAD engineering drawings of my entire kitchen and other built-in components throughout the house. Punctuality and follow-up phone calls were military fresh with him; always driving to my work-site. When the bottom line came with no insurance for upper cabinets; Kent Moore put their best foot forward to help me make it happen. To add an even more positive accolade; the cabinets were scheduled and the initial delivery was targeted for WAY BEFORE the dry wall work was scheduled to be completed.

You may be wondering why I took the time to write this. I am a proud guy and it has been difficult to ask for help. There was a quiet meeting between myself and Jim W. in my flooded house; with a message from his CEO that they were committed to help me. Of all the money donated for Houston Tropical Storm Harvey by music concerts, athletic super stars or corporate donations; not one penny will reach me. The direct effort of a caring professional company like Kent Moore and a blanket from a Church in South Carolina have been the sole extent of my support. I am grateful for Kent Moore Cabinets corporate civic agenda of taking care of the past customers during the Harvey storm. I look forward to putting these new gems in my reconstructed home.

Finally, Kudos to Jim Wetegrove; may he train a hundred men and women like him to sell and be as forthright and compassionate as him. Last but not least thank the guys on the floor for their efforts… it took a hell of a lot of effort to take these strongly built cabinets apart!”

All the Best,
Jim J.

“Great product; exceptional customer service! Purchased Kent Moore cabinets for extensive kitchen/family room remodel. Installed 'frosty white low with brown full glaze' cabinets, bookcases, and entertainment center in December 2009.

Kent Moore design team in Dallas drafted a comprehensive plan and patiently applied changes we requested. Working with our general contractor, the Kent Moore team efficiently installed all cabinets.

We were quite pleased! The cabinets have proven to be very durable and still look stunning. In June 2017, we experienced a problem with two of the hinges in a high traffic area. We contacted Kent Moore to find out where we could find replacement hinges.

Victor Mendez, Vice President of Sales - West Region fielded our request, did some research on our installation and determined what type of hinges were used. After a few weeks we received six hinges in the mail. No charge - just a thank you for being a Kent Moore customer!

Exceptional customer service seven years after the purchase. We highly recommend Kent Moore products and service. Good news is Kent Moore is opening a new office in Frisco Texas”

"Great Quality, Customer Service Highly Recommend Kent Moore Cabinets!"

"Kent Moore Cabinets walked us thru the process of picking out cabinets for our new custom home. We absolutely LOVE them! 2 years later I just contacted my rep with a question and he was still just as helpful!"

"Kent Moore cabinets designed cabinetry for my kitchen and laundry room. Although my main kitchen cabinetry is ebony, the additional cabinetry that was added in the kitchen was designed in white with a golden glaze to compliment my large expensive wall unit in my family room that I did not want to part with and the leather gold seats of the bar stools. Dark ebony rope trim was added to the top of the cabinets to compliment the large rope on the main cabinets. I love the results and receive lots of great compliments."
